History
Our journey to becoming a trusted distribution and trading partner
Early days
Stockpoint Global is a family-owned business established in 2004 by Harry Norbruis. After gaining experience at companies such as Andrélon, Unilever, Wella, and Wilkinson, Harry founded his own business at the age of 42. His brother introduced him to an opportunity in the cosmetics and perfume trade, which led to the creation of Stockpoint Cosmetics.
Challenges
In the early years, building the business required persistence and adaptability. Opportunities were mainly found through Harry’s existing network and by developing new supplier relationships. Stockpoint initially focused on bulk trading, including clearances, surplus, and store returns, although availability was not always consistent. During this period, strong family support played an important role, in particular the support of his wife Caroline, who helped him maintain focus and drive through the more challenging phases of the business.
New direction
In 2008, Harry’s son Dennis joined the company. Combined with his studies, Dennis started in the warehouse, handling the sorting and packing of incoming and outgoing orders. Gradually, the work shifted to the office, where his father taught him the tricks of the trade. This marked the beginning of a new era. By 2013, Stockpoint Cosmetics had transitioned to independent ownership under Harry, and the business strategy evolved to focus more on the regular distribution of cosmetics and toiletries.
Growth
The expansion brought new team members, including Harry’s daughter Rianne and Dennis’ former classmate Arnold. By 2019, the company had grown, requiring a move to a larger office and warehouse facility in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. The facility had a storage capacity of 1,100 pallets to meet both retail and wholesale demand.
Rebranding
In 2024, Stockpoint Cosmetics rebranded as Stockpoint Global. This decision was made to better reflect the company’s broader product scope beyond cosmetics alone. It reinforced its position as an FMCG distribution partner for A-brand manufacturers, official distributors, and emerging brands, serving a broad network of retailers, wholesalers, and e-commerce platforms across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
20 Years in business
Celebrating two decades in operation, Stockpoint Global has achieved significant revenue growth. With sales exceeding 15 million euros in 2019, the company more than doubled this figure within five years, and this upward trend continues. Over time, the team has expanded to include 6 buyers/account managers, an office manager, and 7 warehouse operatives.
Relocation
In December 2025, Stockpoint Global relocated from Dordrecht to a new 3,200 m² office and warehouse facility in Papendrecht, remaining close to Rotterdam, one of the Netherlands’ key trading hubs. This move was driven by the continued growth of the retail distribution business and the ambition to be fully prepared for the years ahead, including the expansion into additional product categories such as food. For the first time, the office was professionally designed to create a modern and inspiring working environment for our employees. This new location marks an important step in the continued growth and development of Stockpoint Global.
